Kochi, Feb 16 (IANS) A merchant vessel reportedly collided with a Kerala fishing boat Friday evening off the Karnataka coast, a defence spokesperson said here.
'M.V. Lady Farhan' collided with fishing boat 'Sania' at 5.30 p.m. Friday, 22 nautical miles off Ezhimala near Mangalore.
Three of the eight crew on board 'Sania' suffered minor injuries. Both the vessels are safe.
A probe has been ordered into the incident, which will begin when 'M.V. Lady Farhan' enters Karwar for its scheduled call there.
