London, Feb 7 (ANI): Dave Grohl mocked Britney Spears on her rumoured move to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Monday night while hosting the 'Chelsea Lately' show.
The Foo Fighters front man joked along with the panel of comedians claiming the 'Toxic' hitmaker had not landed the potentially very lucrative deal to play at Planet Hollywood casino, as her residency had been passed over in favour of a hypnotist, the Daily Mail reported.
The rocker then struck a bit close to home making fun of the singer - who had a very public meltdown - branding her empty.
"She just kind of seems dead inside, like there's nothing behind her eyes," he said.
Then in an attempt to make it clear he was joking, he added: "Like there's nothing in her boobs anymore."
On Tuesday Spears' manager told Extra that she is close to signing a deal for a residency in Las Vegas.
Larry Rudolph revealed that they are currently trying to choose between two casinos, one of which is part of Caesars Entertainment Group, and the deal will be finalised as soon as they decide where to base the show. (ANI)
