Chandigarh, Jan 17 (IANS) Three eunuchs were admitted to a hospital in Haryana's Karnal town Thursday after they were allegedly set afire by their group members, police said.
Station House Officer Ram Kumar said that the injured eunuchs - Mannu, Ranjeet and Koyal - were admitted to a private hospital with serious burn injuries.
He said that preliminary investigations had revealed that these three eunuchs were set on fire inside their room in a village near Karnal, 130 km from here, early Thursday allegedly by two group members, Rizwan and Tasleem.
The accused locked them inside the room and left the place, the police officer said.
The victims were helped by another eunuch who also informed the police.
Raids were being conducted to arrest the accused, police said.
