Washington, Jan. 13 (ANI): Britney Spears and her fiance Jason Trawick, who mutually ended their engagement on Friday merely a year after he proposed to the singer in Las Vegas, called it quits because both wanted "different things", according to a close source.
The source said that there was no third party involved in the break-up, People magazine reported.
Spears had a lot of issues with Trawick doing his own thing - in business and seeing his friends, the source said.
The source asserted that in her perfect world he would have been home with her twenty-four/seven, so that was a point of contention; something that the couple were always working on.
They had also been spending a lot of time apart in the last few months the source said.
Another reason for the break-up was given by TMZ.com, who reported that the couple had split as Spears, who has two sons, had wanted more kids while Trawick did not.
The site also said that dealing with Spears' empire had taken away Trawick's individuality. (ANI)
