Senior BJP leader and leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj has said the RWAs of Delhi that they should get united against this atrocity and dislodge Congress Govt. Addressing a huge crowd in Talkatora Stadium, she blamed that Delhi Govt. is privatizing water supply for committing heavy corruption. Pradesh President Vijender Gupta presided over the conference.

"Water is such precious gift of nature, which has been given free to every person. Govt. is only the trustee of this resource (water). Selling water to foreign companies is violation of the Constitution, insult to the Indian religious scriptures and fraud with 77% poor people of the country."she added.

On the occasion, BJP Delhi State chief Vijender Gupta said that it has been clearly stated in the water policy 2012 directed by the World Bank that water should be treated that as economic commodity. Hence water supply should be done with the objective of profit. The price of water should be based on cost and be increased in constantly. In the draft policy it has been stated that water supply, medical service and education should be profit based. If it happens then India will be ruined.

BJP National Gen. Secy. Vijay Goel told that Sheila Dikshit has been in power for the last 14 years yet 30% people of the capital are not being supplied drinking water and 40% people do not get the facilities of sewer system.
