57th Birthday of Megastar Chiranjeevi
Chiranjeevi celebrated his 57th birthday yesterday by unveiling his brother Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu.
Pawan and other family member planned a big party and celebrated Chiru's birthday.
2012 has been busy and blissful year for Chiranjeevi. His son Ram Charan Teja married his childhood sweetheart Upasana Kamineni. This marriage was attended by Bollywood and Tollywood celebs like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna.
Chiranjeevi was born on August 22, 1955. He came to the big screen with Pranam Khareedu. His first big hit was Mana Voori Pandavulu and from that time he never looked back.
Megastar as he is lovingly referred to gave hits like Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya, Khaidi, Sangharshana, Goonda, Challenge, Hero, Donga, Jwala, Kondaveeti Raja and Shankar Dada MBBS.
Chiranjeevi received the Padma Bhushan in the year 2006.
He has also received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University.
Chiranjeevi made a political part named Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) in 2008 and with it entered in politics. Later in February 2011, Chiranjeevi announced his joining of Congress by merging PRP into Congress. Chiranjeevi, took oath as a Rajya Sabha member on April 3, 2012.
Chiranjeevi is married to Surekha, daughter of Telugu comedy actor Allu Rama Lingaiah. He has two daughters and a son.
His son Ram Charan Teja is also a Tollywood actor. Zanjeer remake will mark his debut in Bollywood.
