Sony has launched Xperia Ion in India priced at Rs 36,999. It is a smartphone that runs on Android ICS operating system and has a 3G support.
Xperia Ion operates on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It is powered with 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It has 1GB RAM.
Xperia Ion sports a 4.6-inch TFT touchscreen having HD Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine and has a resolution support of 1280 x 720 pixels.
This smartphone is topped with a 12.1 Mega Pixel camera that comes with LED flash. It also has a front-facing 1.3 Mega Pixel camera.
Phone has a 16GB of internal storage. It comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology.
Output port includes: a micro SD card slot that can be used to expand internal memory up to 32 GB, USB 2.0 and HDMI port.
Xperia Ion comes preloaded with FM radio having RDS technology and 3D and motion gaming.
Xperia Ion is available in two colors: black and red.
Xperia Ion runs on a 1900 mAh battery that gives the phone up to 12 hours of music playback time, 10 hours of talk time, and 400 hours of standby time.
