Delhi Police have searched the farmhouse of former Haryana home minister Gopal Kanda who is accused of abetting the Geetika Shamra for suicide. Currently he is in police custody for seven days after his surrender to Delhi police.
Delhi police searched his farmhouse at Gawal Pahari situated at Gurgaon-Faridabad road. Some of his relatives were present at his farmhouse and police took some items into custody.
Police also searched his defunct MDLR airlines office for some documents.
It is noted that Gopal Kanda who is accused for abetting of the Geetika Sharma suicide is in police custody for seven days.
Aruna Chadha who is another associates of Kanda and employee of MDLR airlines is currently in judicial custody.
Police have been investigating the suicide of Geetika Sharma as she has mentioned the name of Kanda and Aruna in her suicide notes.
Geetika died on the night of Aug 4-5 at her house in Ashok Vihar in New Delhi.
