MP has turn into an attractive investment destination:Chauhan

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh is growing at a rapid pace. Now, it's your turn to benefit from its growth by investing in Madhya Pradesh. He was addressing of gathering of more than 200 business leaders and investors who flocked to meet him and his team of high-profile bureaucrats in Delhi with Commerce and Industry Minister, Kailash Vijayvargiya and a battery of top bureaucrats to promote the upcoming global investors summit, 'nvest Madhya Pradesh' scheduled from October 28-30, 2012 at financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore.

With cumulative growth rate of 11.98% during the year 2011-12, Madhya Pradesh today is a model state for inclusive growth. Madhya Pradesh has achieved 18% growth in agriculture, 22% in dairy sector and 8% in industry during the last fiscal year.

Earlier during the day, Chief Minister and his team met with senior representatives from companies such as Cargill Foods, Gujarat Guardian, SRF Limited, Apollo Hospitals, Bharat Gears, Philips, Coca Cola, Medanta Medi City, GAIL, Essar Group and Trident Group. The team also had a meeting with high commissioners of Mauritius, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. They also met first secretaries and commercial representatives from embassies of Sweden, Singapore and USA. The Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit is a biennial key investment promotion and facilitation initiative by Government of Madhya Pradesh with an aim of its continued effort in transforming Madhya Pradesh into an attractive investment destination.

The investment promotion roadshows are organized by MPTRIFAC, the single window investment clearance and promotion agency of the Government of Madhya Pradesh with the support of CII Ernst Young, with an objective of showcasing opportunities for investments and discuss cross-border partnerships in advance of the much-awaited Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit in October 2012.
