Cabinet approves various schemes including 'Dilli Swarozgar Yojna'

Delhi Cabinet has decided to provide a helping hand to the vulnerable sections of the society i.e. SC/ST/OBC/Minorities and ensure a mechanism for redressal of grievances to the members of the SC/ST communities by constituting the proposed Delhi Commission for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

The Cabinet also gave its green signal for allotment of fancy numbers to the vehicles eligible for registration in Delhi, the proceed accumulated would be utilized for welfare purposes through the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The Cabinet has also approved a proposal to provide mobile phone facility to judicial officers and another proposal for revised guidelines of MLALADS. The decisions were taken at a Cabinet meeting presided over by the Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit.

Dikshit stated that "Dilli Swarozgar Yojna"for SC/ST/OBC/Minorities announced in the Budget Speech for the financial year 2012-13 would be implemented as the Cabinet has given its approval to launch a new state level scheme to promote self-employment.

The beneficiaries will now be eligible for a loan upto Rs.5,00,000/- against existing loan of Rs.1,00,000/- for starting income generating activity under an earlier scheme called "Composite Loan Scheme". Further, eligibility based on annual family income upto Rs.55,000/- has been enhanced upto Rs.2,00,000/- under the new scheme, 'Dilli Swarozgar Yojna'.

Smt. Dikshit stated that in order to provide forum for redressal of grievances of SC and ST population in Delhi, the Cabinet has decided to constitute the Delhi Commission for Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes for which the Cabinet has approved a Draft for the Delhi Commission for the Scheduled Castes and cheduled Tribes Bill 2012.

dekho kitne handicapped ko loan mil pata hai, 5 saal se to main koshish kar aha hu.
