Instagram the photo sharing application which was bought by Facebook for $1 million has brought new updates for both iOS and Android in its look to enhance the photo sharing experience.
Instagram has brought these new features to make photo sharing faster. After Facebook bought Instagram, this is the first major change app has gone through.
Changes or Updation in Instagram app for both Android and iPhone:
- Users can now search others by username or hashtag
- An Explore tab is added represented by a new star-like icon to search users and tags
- User search auto-completes based on people you follow
- Speed optimizations
- Facebook Like integration
- Profile tab of iPhone is redesigned to make it more visually appealing.
- Camera Roll to post shots already existing on your device.
- Improvements in commenting
- Renewed profile tab
One of the update of Instagram now allows user to share the photos they Like on their Facebook Timeline. It is displayed with a little heart. However, it is optional.
