Ace internet related service provider Google is all set to launch its own voice assistance capability for Android during this week's I/O conference.
Although the Android is already equipped with a voice assistance to a small extent (Android Voice Actions system), this product code-named as Majel supposed to be effective.
In recent past, some major mobile phone manufacturers has hinted on introducing new service; HTC planning a possible Siri rival, Samsung has introduced S-Voice with the Samsung Galaxy SIII. LG is not behind in this race as LG week has revealed Quick Voice, a personal voice-control assistant with specialties that include natural-language processing technology and a host of services that are limited to Korea only. Our domestic mobile manufacturer has joined the bandwagon with AISHA.
Here it is worth noting that Siri on iPhone is highly praised voice assistance service, and if it is used effectively this could be a great service.
Here it is worth mentioning that Google has capabilities in most of the spoken language around the world and a comprehensive understanding of them as it is equipped with Translation engines.
Here it is worth noting that understanding a language and using this language for new application for a mobile are different things.
But here Google's credential of devising technologies can be believed. If it becomes successful in doing so it will be a boon for android users.
