Doon express derails, four dies many injured

In a shocking train accident four people were killed when Dehradoon express derailed from its track in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. 10 passengers have been got injured in the accident. Accident took place near Mahrawa station when 5 coaches of the train derailed from its track. Senior Railway officials have reached at the accident site and rescue operation is going on.

Sources say that accident took place a little after noon and that five of the 18 coaches of the train ran off the tracks. Officials said that the number of dead could be rise.

The train was in high speed during the accident and after derailment coaches of the train overturned. Rescue teams rushed to the accident spot with medical teams and also a relief train was on its way from New Delhi for the rescue.

About 100 passengers have sustained minor to major injuries four among the injured have been stated to serious.

Meanwhile Trinamool Congress supreme and West Bengal has demanded a high level inquiry into the accident. She said it is really a sad incident as the accident has occurred on such a day when nationwide shutdown is going on. She demanded that Railway should conduct an inquiry into the incident.
