Jessica Simpson becomes mother of a baby girl

Singer Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.

The singer and TV personality announced the good news through a banner on her official website.

"Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson,? she wrote on her official website as per the Daily Mail reports.

"We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This is been the greatest experience of our lives,? was written on the banner. .his is Simpson has delivered her first child with her fiance, former football player Eric Johnson.

Simpson?s baby girl is weighed in at 9lbs 13oz. the child seems to have taken her middle name from Jessica's mother Tina, whose maiden name is Drew.

While Drew pays tribute to Jessica's side of the family, Maxwell is middle name of Simpson?s fiancée.
