Victoria uses own measurements for designs

Pop singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham says she often uses her own measurements while draping fabric for her outfits because she believes that her figure represents the "general public".

"We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and I say, 'ok, I'm going to put it on - I stand for the general public here.' It's how I work," femalefirst.co.uk has quoted this singer turned actor saying.

Victoria, who has got back her trim waistline after giving birth to daughter Harper Seven last July, revealed that her pregnant tummy meddled with her design process.

"I found it really difficult when I was pregnant and I couldn't do that. It's part of the process. I'll stand here in my knickers and start draping fabric over myself," this "out of your mind" hit maker has been quoted as saying.
