Now Delhi Metro is all set to extend its journey from Sector 32 to 62. The detailed project report has been submitted to Noida Authority in June 2012 in these regards.
According to sources, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) has informed that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for extension of metro line from sector 32 to sector 62 of NOIDA in Uttar Pradesh was submitted to NOIDA Authority in June, 2012.
This Proposed extension is of length of about 6.675 km. and having 6 metro stations.
No Proposal has been received in the Ministry of Urban Development from Govt. of Uttar Pradesh for the extension of metro line from sector 32 to sector 62 of NOIDA in Uttar Pradesh.
The Minister of State for Urban Development Smt. Deepa Dasmunshi given the information in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha.
