Gurgaon protests Delhi gang-rape

Gurgaon, Dec 20 (IANS) People Thursday held a candle light march here for the 23-year-old physiotherapy intern gang-raped in a moving bus in Delhi, demanding justice for her and death for the accused, a volunteer said.

Volunteers from 'A Better India' gathered in front of the City Centre Mall situated at the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road here. They were carrying lighted candles in their hands, the volenteer added.

The People walked to the M.G Road Metro Station and returned to the starting point.

The demonstrators shouted slogans against the accused and the Delhi Police. They were demanding death penalty for the accused. They also prayed for the health of the victim fighting for her life in the Safdarjang Hospital in Delhi.
