Kohima, Dec.16 (ANI): To promote tourism and preserve the socio-cultural heritage of the Nagas, Kohima played host to the 13th Hornbill Festival of Nagaland recently.
During the festival, 16 tribes of Nagaland presented their folk dances, music, food and other arts.
"We have invited many entrepreneurs from different parts of the states and many entrepreneurs participated at this festival and they are interacting with other so through this festival we are promoting local entrepreneur on this event. Domestic and foreign tourists were thrilled to get a feel of the rich Naga culture," said Azheto, one of the organisers of the Hornbill Festival.
"This festival is very good for the people of Nagaland because on this festival they have lots of things to show to the world that's why so many tourists from across the world always come to see this festival and it's amazing," John, a Danish tourist.
The Hornbill festival is an amalgamation of the traditional and modern face of Nagaland. (ANI)
