New Delhi. Nov. 3 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday condoled the demise of party veteran from Bihar Kailashpati Mishra.
89-year-old Mishra, a former Governor of Gujarat, breathed his last at his residence in Patna earlier in the day after a prolonged illness.
"Kailashpati Mishraji was one of the great leaders of the nation and Bihar. And it is due to his hard work, the BJP bounced back in Bihar," said BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain.
"He served the entire nation and society as a committed 'Pracharak'. He will always inspire us and we will always follow his principles," he added.
Terming Mishra's demise as a 'huge loss' for the BJP, Bihar and the entire nation, Hussain said that people within the party are deeply upset on hearing of this news. (ANI)
