Gurgaon, Oct 9 (IANS) Electricity consumers in Haryana had their increased power load regularised without paying a penalty under the ongoing Voluntary Disclosure Scheme (VDS) of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), an official said Tuesday.
Gurgaon had 2,914 consumers who had their electricity load increased, the highest number in Haryana.
A DHBVN said that out of a total of 8,600 consumers who declared their extended load in the state, 5,260 were domestic consumers, 2,525 farmers, 643 non-domestic and 169 were industrial consumers.
