Ghaziabad, Sep 30 (IANS) A 22-year-old son of the owner of an engineering college here has gone missing, police said Sunday.

Naman Jain was last seen Saturday night at a wedding party at a farmhouse on National Highway-24. Police have not ruled out kidnapping.

Naman is the son of Atul Jain, the owner of Ideal Institute of Technology. He is an engineering student at J.P. University of Information Technology in Noida.

Police said Naman and his parents had gone to attend the wedding function of the daughter of trade union leader Shiv Shankar Rathi at Vedanta Farms.

Around midnight, Naman's parents left the venue without him, said Superintendent of Police Jagdish Sharma.

In the morning, they called up police, saying their son had not returned home.

"We thought Naman might have gone home before we left the venue," said Atul Jain.

Jain said he did not know when Naman left the party since his son had left behind his mobile phone at home.
