Ghaziabad, Sep 25 (IANS) Dentist Nupur Talwar, mother of slain teenager Aarushi, walked out of prison on bail following an order issued by a special court here Tuesday. She was arrested April 30.
She stepped out of the Dasna jail around 7 p.m. after a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court issued orders to release her after furnishing a bail bond of Rs.200,000, in addition to two surety bonds of Rs.200,000 each.
The local court issued the release order after the Supreme Court Sep 17 granted her bail and asked the trial judge to release her latest by Sep 25.
Nupur Talwar and her husband are accused in the murder of their daughter and destroying evidence.
Aarushi, 14, was found murdered at her parents' Noida residence May 16, 2008. The body of her domestic help Hemraj was found the next day on the terrace of the house.
