US envoy to UN to visit India

New Delhi, Aug.21 (ANI): United States Ambassador to the United Nations Susan E. Rice will undertake a visit of India this week and will meet with government officials and civil society representatives.
A U.S.Embassy release said that Ambassador Rice will hold meetings with senior Indian officials on Wednesday to discuss a range of bilateral and multilateral
issues, including peace-keeping, regional cooperation and Syria.
While in India, Ambassador Rice will also meet with Indian women leaders and participate in an event focusing on child and infant survival that honors Eleanor Roosevelt and is in support of UNICEF, hosted by U.S. Ambassador to India Nancy Powell, the release said. (ANI)
