Mysore (Karnataka), Aug 20 (ANI): The Muslim community of Mysore and senior citizens of the northeast settled in Karnataka, after a threadbare discussion on the present situation at a meeting with hundreds of students and working class of northeast, hosted a dinner to mark the occasion of Eid, here on Monday.
The Muslims categorically said, "We are with you and no threat to the northeast people will be allowed under any circumstances."
The meeting was convened by the police commissioner of Mysore region.
The participants lauded the initiative of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki for sending a goodwill mission headed by MP Takam Sanjoy with New Delhi Arunachal Bhawan DRC KN Damo and Congress leader Lkiha Maj as members, the team members told ANI over telephone. (ANI)
