Bangalore, July 27 (IANS) Vaibhav Deshpande's century (126, 228b, 20x4) put Rajasthan CA in command as they made 343 for four in 90 overs against Hyderabad CA on the first day of the Shafi Darashah Trophy cricket tournament at Mysore Friday.
Batting first on winning the toss, Rajasthan batsmen made merry as Puneet Yadav (69), former India star Hrishikesh Kanitkar (89 not out) and Arjit Gupta (51 not out) helped themselves to half-centuries.
Also in Mysore, KSCA President's XI's decision to field first misfired as Mumbai CA made 399 all out in 88 overs with Iqbal Abdulla (79) being the top-scorer while Abhishek Nayyar (70), Surya Kumar Yadav (75) and BS Sandhu (57) joining in the run feast.
In Alur, Bangladesh A dismissed Baroda for 202 with Enamul Hoge (Jr) (3/67), D Mahmod (2/18), Robiul Islam (2/30) and Kazi Hossain (2/37) getting among wickets.
