New Delhi, May 14 (IANS) It was a pleasant, cloudy morning for the capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 26.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for the season. A dust haze settled over the city.
"Skies will mainly be clear but there will be a dust haze through the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 40 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 38 percent.
Sunday's minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below average, while the maximum settled at 37.6 degrees Celsius.
