Warm day for Delhi

New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny morning for the capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 24.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for the season. The met department forecast a warm day ahead.

 

"The day is likely to be warm. The sky might turn partly cloudy by evening or night," an official from India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

 

"The maximum and minimum temperature will be around 40 and 25 degrees Celsius," added the IMD official.

 

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 51 percent.

 

Sunday's maximum temperature was 39.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for the season, while the minimum temperature was 25.4 degrees, average for this time of the season.
