New Delhi, April 18 (IANS) A body, charred beyond recognition, was found Wednesday at a sealed nursery near Khan Market in central New Delhi, police said adding that the body could be that of a 15-year-old son of a sweeper, reported missing from the area on April 11, even though the boy's family could not identify the body.

The body was discovered at Kamal Nursery past midnight after a fire service tender reached there to douse a fire.

Before the tender arrived, the fire had gone out, a police official said. But the firemen found a person with 90 per cent burns, he added. The person was rushed to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and DNA examination to ascertain its identity.

The nursery was sealed in January after a district court order, he said.
