Hot day ahead for Delhi

New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) The capital woke up to a warm Monday morning with the minimum temperature three notches above average at 23.1 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast a hot day.

 

The maximum temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

 

The sky will be partly cloudy, there are no chances of rain, added the official.

 

Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures were both three notches above average at 36.6 degrees and 22.1 degrees respectively.
