Mumbai Indians restrict Pune Warriors to 129/9

Mumbai, April 6 (IANS) Put in to bat, Pune Warriors notched up 129 for nine in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Wankhede Stadium here Friday.

 

Pune Warriors' Australian import Steven Smith top scored with 39 off 32 balls while Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga was the pick of the Mumbai Indians bowlers taking two wickets for 16 runs.

 

Earlier, Mumbai Indians captain Harbhajan Singh won the toss and elected to field.
