'World recognises Pakistan shelters terrorist masterminds'

New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) India said Tuesday the US announcement of a $10 million bounty to capture Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed was proof that the whole world now recognises that Pakistan is sheltering a terrorist mastermind.
Reacting to the US statement, Home Secretary Raj Kumar Singh said: 'It has come out now that the whole world recognises that Pakistan shelters and harbours terrorist masterminds.'
The US Monday announced an award of up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Saeed, wanted for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, and $2 million for his brother-in-law Hafiz Adbul Rahman Makki, under the Rewards for Justice programme.
In her talks, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman had conveyed to Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai the US decision on the two terrorists.
