Janet Jackson has no time for 'The X Factor'

London, Mar 5 (ANI): Janet Jackson has turned down an offer to join the next season of America's 'The X Factor' as a judge because she just can't work the show into her schedule.

It was rumoured that the singer was in the running to take up the post on Simon Cowell's hit TV talent hunt, following the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul after the first series.

"(I'm) very flattered that 'X Factor' let me know that I was being considered for next season, but it just wouldn't be possible," Contactmusic quoted her as telling E! News.

Jackson is busy in preparations for her next 'Number Ones Up Close and Personal Tour' as well as role in a Tyler Perry movie.

Britney Spears and Fergie are still reportedly being courted for judging roles alongside Cowell and LA Reid. (ANI)
