London , Tue, 31 Jan 2012 ANI

London, Jan 31 (ANI): When we are on our deathbeds we typically wish we had been truer to ourselves, expressed ourselves better, stayed in touch with friends and not worked so hard.

Writer Bronnie Ware, who cared for the dying when she worked as a nurse, has listed top five regrets people have on their deathbeds.

"When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again," the Daily Express quoted Bronnie, who works in Australia, as saying.

The most common regrets include: 'I wish I'd been true to myself,' 'I wish I hadn't worked so hard,' 'I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings,' 'I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends,' and 'I wish that I had let myself be happier.' (ANI)
