London, Apr 1 (ANI): Kylie Minogue is Britain's most powerful star, according to a poll.
The Spinning Around star pipped David Beckham and Cheryl Cole to land the top spot in the list of the U.K.'s most well-known and well-liked stars, reports The Daily Star.
George Clooney, a non-Brit, was also well liked, revealed the poll of 2,000 participants, while veteran actresses Joanna Lumley, Dame Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench scored points for being positive role models.
A spokesperson for research company Millward Brown says, "Kylie is widely accepted as an adopted Brit. People know her, like her and she is surrounded by positive buzz." (ANI)
