London, Dec 2 (ANI): A home movie of screen legend Marilyn Monroe smoking marijuana has surfaced after 50 years.
Shot at a private home in New Jersey, the film was tracked down by Monroe memorabilia collector Keya Morgan, who bought it for 165,000 pounds, reports The Sun.
In the silent film, the Hollywood icon looks relaxed and puffs on a "cigarette", which the film-maker says contained marijuana.
The Some Like It Hot star is also captured sniffing her armpit and giggling in the reel, said to date from 1958-59.
Morgan said: "This is a side of her we've never seen before."
Marilyn, who was addicted to barbiturates, overdosed in 1962 on Nembutal and chloral hydrate. It was estimated she had taken 50 pills. (ANI)
