April 28: Bollywood actor and superstar Hrithik Roshan leads in the individual taxpayer list in India for the year 2006-07. He paid as much as Rs 15.10 crore, almost double as what he paid last year. Hrithik is one of the highest paid actors in bollywood and is normally paid more than Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bacchan or anyone else.

The other celebrities that follow his footsteps are Akshay Kumar, who paid Rs. 6.6 crore, Indian cricket skipper Sachin Tendulkar, who paid Rs.5.75 crore, actress Kareena Kapoor, paying Rs. 2.9 crore and John Abraham, who paid only Rs. 1 crore.
