London, June 28 (ANI): The oldest mother in Britain returned to her office just four weeks after delivering her baby at 66.
Elizabeth Adeney, from Lidgate, Suffolk, conceived little Jolyon through IVF and gave birth by caesarean section at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on May 26.
The managing director of plastic and textile company Delmore went back to work leaving the baby, weighing 5lb 3oz at the time of birth, with a nanny, reports The Daily Express.
Elizabeth's gets a friend to drive her the 45-minute trip to her office and back home.
She first underwent fertility treatment two decades ago during her short-lived marriage to Robert Adeney.
