High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is the disease resulting from unusually excessive pressure of blood against the walls of the arteries of heart when the heart pumps the blood. The blood pressure is measured in two different dimensions, respectively as systolic and diastolic. Systolic pressure refers to the pressure of blood when heart beats and diastolic refers to the pressure of blood between the beating of the heart. As per medical parameter a lower of 80 and a lower of 120 respectively for systolic and diastolic pressure is considered normal and above this level it is medically considered to be a case of high blood pressure.
