Osama bin Laden goes by the full name of Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden. He was born on March 10, 1957 in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia and later founded Al Qaeda, the jihadist organization responsible for several terrorist attacks around the globe. His father Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was a billionaire construction magnate in Riyadh.

He was on the lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists of Federal Bureau of Investigation. He also had a bounty of US$25 million on his head. He was involved in the U.S. Embassy bombings of 1998.

Laden was killed by U.S. Navy SEALs and CIA operatives on May 2, 2011 inside a private residential compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. This secret operation was carried out by the permission of United States President Barack Obama.
