Islamabad, Oct 26 (ANI): A Pakistani warlord has warned that the Taliban is planning to launch attacks in Britain during Christmas.
Commander Javed Karmazkhel Wazir of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed that 200 suicide bombers and assassins are ready to launch attacks.
"We have prepared squads of holy warriors who will target people and government facilities in London and other big cities of the UK," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Insisting that their recruits look "liberal", Wazir said: "You will not see bearded men or veiled women doing this."
The TTP are furious at US President Barack Obama's recent success in overseeing the death of Osama Bin Laden. Reports suggest that the group's hitlist now includes Obama.
The TTP had also claimed responsibility for a 2009 suicide attack on the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the attempted Times Square bombing in 2010. (ANI)
