Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout at Wadala is another big film to be released this Friday, which is a action crime drama based on the 1992 encounters in Bombay. The film has a big star cast including John Abraham, Tusshar, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood, Ronit Roy and Mahesh Manjerekar and is a sequel to the 2007 film Shootout at Lokhandwala.

Bombay Talkies, which a collection of four stories by four different directors is all set to release this Friday on May 3 and is much sough of for the big names like Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Akhtar, and Anurag Kashyap associated with it. Bombay talkies is a tribute to celebrate the 100 years of Indian Cinema and the film has already got recognition as it would be screened in the 66th edition of Cannes Film Festival going to be held May 15 to 26 this month.
Doodle celebrates Satyajit Ray's 92nd birth anniversary

Search engine giant has dedicated its doodle on Thrusday to legendary filmmaker on his 92nd birth anniversary by displaying a scene from his all time classic Pather Panchali, which his Ray's first film. The doodle shows the two famous character of Apu and Durga, where Apu is running behind Durga in a field of flowers. Pather Panchali was released in 1955.
