Telengana is a sect of people living in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Jai Telengana party is a regional political party in this state with the demand of chiefly the formation of a new state in India mostly taking the Telenganas living in this part of the state. The party came in to existence due to the sincere effort of P.Indra Reddy in order to give the Telenganas in India a recognized status and win but everything came to a standstill position after the premature and special provisions to this sect of people. Indra Reddy was a member of the Telugu Desam party led by N.Chandrababu Naidu but due to a rift Reddy went out and a formed a party of his own. In 1998 JTP merged with Indian National Congress and Reddy contested the assembly poll in congress seat till the demise of Ready in accident. Thus his efforts though couldn?t reach the goal, paved the way for the future to realize the dream in to reality.

The BJP-MGP coalition defeated Congress in Goa by a large margin, the coalition made victory on 24 seats out of 40. Manohar Parrikar, who led the BJP's campaign and cornered congress for the illegal mining is all set to be the next chief minister.
Riding on the waves of anti-incumbency congress won 32 seats out of 70 seats and became single largest party but it could not achieve the magic figure of 36 that is required for the majority. The incumbent BJP is just behind with 31 seats.
Unaffected by anti-incumbency BJP-SAD alliance came to power in Punjab. With this historic victory it has become the first coalition government to return to power defying anti-incumbency.
The results of polls in state are not encouraging for the congress. Except state of Manipur where it has managed to remain in power, it seems that this national party is fading its charm.
