New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): After having been chased away from Ramlila Maidan by Delhi Police, now Baba Ramdev's supporters will stage demonstration against the Indian government on foreign soil.
Sunita Poddar, member of Action Against Corruption and Trustee of the Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust said: "We, the people of Indian origin all over the world are deeply depressed, embarrassed and pained by this vulgar display of naked power. No justification of any kind can condone these vicious actions on the Indian citizens".
Sunita said that Baba's sympathizers would be holding a peaceful protest on Sunday, at the Old Palace Yard, opposite the Houses of Parliament, London, from 12:00 noon to 2.30 p.m.
According to Sunita, all protesters will be wearing black armbands as a sign of solidarity with the innocent people of India who on a day- to- day basis are being affected by corruption, which is leading the country into poverty.
"Corruption is the root cause of Poverty in India. They will also observe a two-minute silence to remember those who were hurt when the Delhi Police raided their peaceful demonstration on June 5," Sunita said. By Pankaj Choudhary (ANI)
