Scorching day for Delhi

New Delhi, May 3 (IANS) The capital witnessed a sunny and slightly warm Thursday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 21.4 degrees, three notches below average. The met department has forecast a scorching day ahead.

 

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain clear throughout the day. The maximum temperature is likely to soar to 40 degrees Celsius.

 

The humidity wavered between a high and low of 61 and 15 percent.

 

Delhi had a clear and bright day Wednesday, though the maximum temperature remained a notch below normal at 37.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature had dipped even lower - four notches below normal - to 20.5 degrees Celsius.
