Government will not impose its view on Telangana: Chidambaram

Delhi,Politics, Wed, 02 May 2012 IANS

New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) Home Minister P. Chidambaram Wednesday said the government will not thrust its opinion on Telangana and the decision on the statehood issue will be taken after consensus among political parties.

"The government will not impose its views on Telangana and the decision will be taken only after the eight political parties come up with a view," Chidambaram said while replying to a debate in the Lok Sabha on the demands for grants of the home ministry for 2012-13.

Regarding the problem of Maoist violence, the home minister said the government had no objection in talking to the rebels but they must give up violence during the period of the talk.

He also urged all states to work together with the centre to ensure internal security of India in a troubled neighbourhood.

Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, he said the report of the government interlocutors would be put up this week to elicit public opinion.

Is it he got elected by all the voters from his constiutency. How many votes gone agianst him?what percentage he secured.I think hardly he might have got 40%.With less than 40% he became MP in this democratic country. Why 100% stakeholders in AP should decide the fate of telangana or telanganites. He is whimsical?Dont he?He is even evading from the responsibility by telling non-sense stories and precedents? Why Govt has no opinion.Dont they have any responsibility or telangana is not in India?Unfortunate that we have such type of seasoned politicians at helm. These days he is even telling lies. His soon theories all tell that.Oh..God poor save the gullible telanganites.
