Warm day for Delhi

New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) It was a sunny day in the capital Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 37.1 degrees Celsius, one notch below average for this time of the season.

The minimum temperature was 20.7 degrees Celsius, four notches below the average. The humidity levels hovered between a high of 66 and a low of 16 percent.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a clear sky is expected Monday.

"The maximum and minimum temperature Monday will hover around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an IMD official.

Saturday's maximum temperature was 36.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, while the minimum temperature was three notches below average at 21.3 degrees.
