Chandigarh, April 15 (IANS) Haryana's chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) Ram Kishan Fauji continued to be in a hospital here Sunday after being found unconscious under mysterious circumstances at his official residence in Panchkula the day before.
Fauji, who was admitted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Saturday, continued to be in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
PGIMER sources said that Fauji, who is suspected to have consumed a pesticide, was still not completely out of danger.
"His condition has not deteriorated further. He is stable now," a PGIMER source said.
Fauji's family and police continued to be tight-lipped about the reason behind his mysterious collapse. The police have still not registered any case.
He was found lying unconscious inside the bathroom of his official residence in Panchkula's Sector 12-A. His staff broke into the bathroom through a window to help him.
A legislator from the Bhiwani Khera (reserved) assembly seat, Fauji is attached with Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the CPS.
