Panaji, April 11 (IANS) Chief minister Manohar Parrikar Wednesday banned mediapersons from the secretariat for the duration of the cabinet meeting, because he does not "like being nagged".
"I do not like being nagged when I am going into the cabinet (meeting). It is a government decision. There is nothing wrong with it," Parrikar told reporters.
Goa Union of Journalists (GUJ) president Pandurang Gaonkar denounced the move.
"This is wrong. It is unfortunate because Parrikar projects himself as a transparent chief minister. What is there to hide in cabinet meetings?"
