London, Feb 19 (ANI): The Queen has revealed that she is a fan of 'The X Factor', admitting her fondness for the talent show to ex-contestant Mary Byrne.
The Irish singer, who came fourth in the 2011 series, met Her Majesty after performing for her at a concert during the 85-year-old monarch's visit to Ireland last year.
"The Queen knew who I was straight away," the Daily Express quoted Byrne as saying.
"She shook my hand and the first thing she said was: 'Has your life changed?'
"I said: 'Yes', then of course asked if she watched The X Factor, and she said: 'No, it's too late on a Saturday, but I may get to see it over the weekend.' I presume that one of the Princes records it," she said.
Royal servants record all of the Queen's favourite programmes so she can catch up. (ANI)
