Deportees in the US find sanctuary in churches
Dozens of immigrants have been finding sanctuary in churches across the US to avoid deportation. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents avoid searching sensitive sites like churches, but those who take shelter there are confined to the building until there is a change in policy or a court grants them the right to stay.
